I heard this saying in church today, “Hearse’s don’t have hitches.” I had to laugh because it’s true. You also always hear “You can’t take it with you.”
There’s nothing wrong with pursuing a career or financial security. In fact, God encourages hard work, investing and being wise with your finances.
It’s only a sin if you put money before God. Pursuing a relationship with God should be first in your life.
God blesses people in different ways. I could give you a long list of believers in the bible who were poor and a long list of believers who were rich. If you continue to put God first in your life, I can guarantee you that you will be well rewarded when you get to heaven.
I’m looking forward to seeing Jesus on judgement day and hearing him say, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
Be thankful for the rich blessings he gives you. If you’re going through hard times, it’s okay to mourn and grieve. You will get through the storms of life and when you get to heaven, your sorrow will be turned to joy.
I look forward to that day!
Be strong in the Lord!
