The Greenwood Reservoir is a great place to go for a peaceful walk and enjoy the outdoors.

I just love how those colors are reflecting on the water.

You can see some wildflowers and this Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

Love those dark greens and the ice-blue water.

Deb and her nephew Corey. Corey is the one who told us about the Greenwood Reservoir. He said he came here often when he was growing up.

Those beautiful pines are framing the island.

A closer view of the island. This is one of several islands here.

The reservoir.

We left the rock jumping to Corey. After all, someone had to take the pictures.

Mushrooms! I’m not an expert so we decided to error on the side of safety and just look at any mushrooms we found. Whether it is or not – I don’t know – but this one looks dangerous.

This pine tree with its’ decoration of leaves is a great picture to end this post and to help us transition from fall to the Christmas season.
Wow, a lot of truly beautiful photographs. Thanks for sharing. 🤗💕❤️Love Joni

Do you do a lot of photography work? Your photographs were beautiful. My husband and I want to move to the Appalachian Mountains and live in a cabin. We are working on it. If it is in God’s plan. Have a blessed holiday and stay safe with family. Love ❤️ Joni

Thank you for the compliment. Actually, I know nothing about photography. I am getting a little better, but I basically just aim and shoot. Fortunately for me, much of the scenery in Michigan is so beautiful that it’s hard to take a bad picture (although I manage that often enough). Oh, that sounds wonderful living in a cabin in the mountains. I hope it works out for you. Enjoy the holidays and hopefully, next Christmas you’ll be in your cabin!
