Manabezho Falls is on the Presque Isle River in the Porcupine Mountains.
I didn’t take a lot of pictures of this fall. Not because it wasn’t worthy, but because we started at the Nonesuch Shales downriver and worked our way up. The sites from Lake Superior on up to Manabezho Falls were constantly changing and I took a ton of pictures. If you want to see what’s below this fall, check out my post “I Found It! The Nonesuch Shale.”
This is Debi. She’s the brains behind our adventures. Before we leave, she looks up places for us to see. I drive and she tells me where to go. It works out good that way. We’re on the same vacationing wavelength and rarely disagree on what to do or where to go next.
Yours truly, enjoying another wonderful day.
Whalah! Here she is!
This is a little sand bar in the middle of the river.
You can park a short distance from this fall or go see Nonesuch Shales first and work your way up to this fall. Not a bad way to end your hike! Oh, you do have to walk back down if you want to get back to your car!
