Gee, Thanks!

I would like to thank Gee (that’s what I’m calling her since she doesn’t want her name on the  internet) for all of her help in getting my blog started. I couldn’t have done it by myself. It took her six hours to do it because she had Debi and me sitting on each side of her, tag-team bombarding her with questions.

Picking out the theme was the first battle. There were hundreds to choose from. I wanted to see them all! Gee finally had to nicely urge me “Mary, this is only the first decision. We have a long way to go. You have to pick one. If you don’t like it, we can change it later.”

Okay. Okay. I choose one, with Gee’s help, and I love it. I think it works beautifully for what I want to do with it. She was so patient with me and took a good chunk out of her day to help me. Love you Gee!

I also want to thank Debi. Over Christmas break, she let me camp out at her house a lot and she helped me figure out how to post my pictures onto my blog. She was better at that than I was. I knew nothing. I’m good at posting words, but I’m still not real comfortable with posting pictures. I’m getting better though. Maybe soon I’ll take the training wheels off and try to do it by myself! Thank you Deb!

I feel like I’m on the road to achieving my dream of being an author. I’m doing what I enjoy doing. Writing. I’m sharing my poems, stories and my love for Michigan. We have a beautiful state. Right now it’s beautifully cold, but that’s only for a short season. Even though winter isn’t my favorite time, brrrrr, I love having four seasons. Each one looks different, feels different and brings different opportunities. And Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without snow!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my endeavors. Love ya all!
