Shades of Autumn

Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. The dried leaves crunch underneath your feet, the rich, earthy aromas and the trees and plants are all dressed in their finest. It’s like they’re going to some exquisite gala.

The squirrels are looking for their fall bounty.

Beautiful.

Even stripped of its’ adornments, there is beauty in nature.

These remind me of microphones; there to record the symphony of the birds, wind and leaves.

I like the bend and sway of this tree.

The brilliant colors have faded and nature is slowing down and getting ready to hibernate. After a much needed rest, spring will come – bursting with new life.

I am thankful to our Creator who has given us beauty in every season, sunrise and sunset.
