This sign just called it Slate Falls.
This is where we stopped and parked. If you follow the river up, you see the Black Slate Falls. If you follow the river down, you see Quartzite Falls. So, you get two falls in the same area.
This sign calls it Black Slate Falls. The other sign just said Slate Falls. Just some info for you in case you want to look it up on the internet. Happy exploring!
