You get two gorgeous falls real close to each other. It’s definitely worth the drive to see these! Potawatomi Falls is wheelchair accessible! Unfortunately, this one is not.
The water looks smooth and like jello at the top.
They were nice enough to tell you how far you’ll have to walk.
Nice little trail back there.
Love having people in the pictures to show you just how far the walk down is.
Got the sunlight in this one.
Snow! And this was the middle of May, 2018. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan had a bad snowfall in April. The sun didn’t reach that spot too well, so that was one of the last clumps of snow that stubbornly waited a while to melt.
I just don’t know what to say.
Those rock walls are solid. They’re not crumbling any time soon.
This is my last picture of Gorge Falls. The rest are of the path from Gorge Falls to Potawatomi Falls if you follow the river. If you go to Potawatomi Falls from the parking lot, it’s paved and wheelchair accessible. The path along the river definitely is not.
I like the sunlight shining through the trees.
Lots of steps. Work them quads!
This path has a bad case of vericose veins – I mean roots.
First roots. Now rocks, but the views are worth the trouble.
Ahhhh.
Is that view worth it, or what?
So beautiful! The pictures look amazing
